Associate Professor

Dr. Bandita Paikaray is an Associate Professor in School of Civil Engineering at KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India. She joined KIIT-DU in 2008 and has been involved in various teaching and research activities. She completed her M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Odisha in 2004 and started her teaching carrier in BIET, Bhadrak under BPUT in 2004 and continued till 2008. She completed her PhD in 2019 from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology(KIIT), Bhubaneshwar, Odisha under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Das (IIT,ISM, Dhanbad)and Prof. (Dr.) Benu Gopal Mohapatra(Director ,Consultancy, KIITDU). She successfully guided her PhD scholar Ms. Manal Alali to get her degree in 2023. She also guided many M.Tech scholars during her teaching profession. She is currently working on Bearing capacity of shallow foundation, reinforced earth structure and ground improvement techniques.
